Judith M. Ackerman

Judith M. Ackerman was born at the seashore in Atlantic City and learned early in life that the tide comes in and goes out. It was during the times when the tide receded in her life, that she discovered her creativity. She became an award-winning designer and artist and has now discovered her love for writing. She has become a storyteller of children’s books. The Fishermen and the Mermaids is her debut book, an adventurous story with a question to be solved. Judith is the mother of two sons and seven grandchildren. She now lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and she still has sand in her shoes.
